How can we do a lot together?

F.K.Waechter describes in his child book “We can still do a lot together” a fish, a pig and a bird which introduce each other the environments which are unknown to them.
This way the bird learns how to swim, the fish gets taught to walk and the pig learns flying.
The animals are happy, because they met new friends and learned something new.
The parents of these young animals are stunned; show a lack of understanding while watching their heirs playing with these new friends.

To explain what these animals did, people speak nowadays about Expatriates, Managing Diversity,
Communication across Cultures, tolerance of ambiguity and culture shocks.

How can we do a lot together?

Preconditions are, similar to the fish, the piglet and the bird, the curiosity and the courage to dare something unknown and new.
The rewards are new networks, different points of view and insights. These bridges between different (sub-)cultures will lead into competitive advantage and more efficient teamwork in intercultural groups.
